I’ve been regularly chronicling my writing journey over at Simily with weekly updates.

I like writing on the platform, and it is exciting to finally see some decent growth there.

One thing many writers want at Simily is MORE — more promotion of content, more engagement, more reasons for readers and other writers to join the site and stay on the site.

So, when I got an email about a free writing hour hosted by Simily, I was excited. An opportunity to engage facilitated by Simily — an encouragement to create with a nudge to make it happen.

The event is being hosted on September 21st at 7 PM EST. Interested writers can register here.

Simily is also taking nominations for another “Story of the Month.”

The regular identification and recognition of writing on the site will help keep writers there and should also serve to attract readers.

Next: Simily needs to get active on their social channels and do even MORE to promote the writing that is there.

You can read “Birds of Pray,” — the last story of the month — here.
