A little promotion goes a long way

I’ve been writing on Simily for a while now and consistently chronicling my journey there. One thing I keep saying: Simily should do more to promote the writing on its platform. This will encourage writers and let potential readers know what’s out there.

This month, I’m happy to say one of my stories was chosen as “Story of the Month.

Birds of Pray is part of the Macon County Supper Club series that may form the basis of a novel I’ve long wanted to write.

I’m excited that out of six stories, mine was chosen by Simily readers. Thank you to all who voted for it!

I’ll be curious to see what (if anything) the Simily “promotion” of the piece does for my reads/views. Of course, I’ll report back here as I learn more.

Have you tried Simily as a reader or writer? What are your thoughts?
