Simily is the new kid on the block for writers. It’s like Medium in that you can subscribe for unlimited access to content. The big difference is they pay for both internal and external views of your stories. At least for now. The site is still small, but it is growing.

Here’s how Medium writer Edina Abena Jackson describes her experience on the platform:

Simily looks promising so far, I have earned $3.20 which is not much but I plan to interact more on the platform and promote my content to boost views. At the moment, Simily pays for external views which is great but I don’t think that will last for long.

Personally, I’ve earned just under a dollar in the nearly three weeks I’ve been on the site. So far, I’ve published three stories there.

Here’s a little more about my experience on Simily:

And here’s one of my Simily stories (fiction) in case you’re curious:

Zoom Cat — Simily

I plan to focus primarily on fiction there, but the site does accept nonfiction stories.

Have you written on Simily yet? What are your thoughts on this infant-stage platform?
