Yes - you point this out, but he put himself first - his fear trumped your safety - NOT OK. But, he was probably a great guy, fun, etc- and sure, that was weird, but .... I've also found that when we call these things out or ask for healthy treatment, people look .... confused. Well, some people, anyway.
