Yes - the opportunity for variable intensity is what makes walking appealing to me - I walk 5 nights a week - usually 3-4 miles - sometimes, I use light wrist weights, sometimes, I add jogging in intervals. Sometimes, I just walk - it's great for weight maintenance and heart health.
