Yes! Starbucks is a great example - people happily paid the 5-10 cent prices increases every 4-6 months b/c the product was solid and the service was great. Now, Starbucks seems like it wants to do mostly pickup business and the product can be inconsistent - For me, it went from "hey, I love the feel of this Starbucks and the coffee IS perfect" to "Ugh, there's no good place to sit, the coffee is ok, and there's no personal service and I just paid HOW MUCH?!"

So, now I just make my coffee at home. I was totally willing to pay for an experience they just aren't offering anymore.
