YES - give us some boosts! Even just 1 per month. A story that gets tons of noms is likely to be boosted (and likely to deserve it) - and, well, once you've used your nom, it's gone. So, we'd be incentivized to choose wisely. You could definitely get into a nom-for-nom scheme, but the Medium team would be the final arbiters, so that should help keep crap out of the boost. Plus, if everyone has the power to nominate stories, it would build the sense of community - we are all building each other up.
