YES - bringing up the app/app experience necessarily puts the focus on OTHER people the two of you have met - having a meta-convo about dates while you're on a date - that's a pretty great sign you're not actually interested - or, it's terrible ball handling, so to speak - keep the convo focused on YOUR DATE.
