YES - 1000 times yes. No one cares that you once failed - they care WHO you are. They care that you are OK not being ok. They care that you respond to failure by getting up and moving on - not in dwelling on a past you can't change. Show them who you are now - show them you learned the lesson. If you must talk about that past failure, say something like " I did X and it didn't work out as planned, but here's what I learned...."
