Yeah, that's not cool - definitely not in economy. I'm not really a friendly flyer, though - I mean, I'm quiet and harmless, but I don't want to be talked to or touched or to watch you touch someone - unless it's that damn toddler who keeps kicking my seat - you can grab and hold him all you need to. Anyway, I'm with you - this is NOT ok.
