Wonderfully written - compelling. Brought to mind thoughts of my dad - a man I never talked to on the phone. There were other rules for our engagements. And his death 2 years ago brought many things to the surface - his wife still has most of his ashes and his things - none of which I want. Funny that I always wanted him to go away - but now that he has, I'm not sure exactly what to do. It does make trips back to my hometown much more bearable.
