Simily sometimes upgrades features, but not the ones that matter

I’ve been writing on Simily and chronicling my journey there since January.

While my initial posts about the platform gushed with enthusiasm, lately, I’ve been striking a down note.

Why?

The site still doesn’t have 5000 members.

The site hasn’t upgraded to a platform that’s not WordPress.

The site sometimes adds new features, but they aren’t the features that improve load time or the writer/reader experience.

It’s not just me, either. Abena Talks, who publishes a TON of content, writes about her Simily experience. This includes earning about $13 in June.
