This is something I do not understand. Yes, I appreciate comments and engagement on my work - and, yes, I'll attempt to read something from people who engage with my pieces. But, some stuff isn't what I'm interested in - and some is not great. While I try to reciprocate genuine engagement, I also don't feel obligated to read content I'm not into or content that is not consistently at least decent.
