This is helpful to know - and demystify (a little) the curation process. I used to regularly have pieces "chosen for further distribution" then, I didn't for a while. Now, it seems more "random." The pieces that are curated are often associated with a pub, have lots of links/quality source cites, and are 3 mins or longer. That's just my experience. Every now and then, a piece I write that's not in a pub will be curated - I'm still trying to figure out the "secret" sauce so it happens more often . . .
