This is annoying and frustrating - I think people are TRYING to get eyes on THEIR content - but, they are playing a game, rather than seriously engaging - in time, this will prove to be a failed strategy. But, for writers, it is quite frustrating. Read content you like, engage with great writers, and produce quality content - thanks for calling this out!
