This is an apt analogy. Medium is still, well, fun - but also, seems to have lost some luster. That said, there seem to be innovations around the corner - like the once proud town that finds a way to revitalize. I don't think Medium has quite hit on it yet. One key problem: Medium surged during the pandemic as everyone was basically stuck inside. Now that people are back to work and other activities, readership is down - how to bring them back or attract new ones? Medium doesn't seem to quite know yet.
