The Simily Poem of the Month

Simily recently took votes for a Poem of the Month and today, the platform released the winning poem.

I’ve been writing on Simily since January and reporting regularly on developments on the platform.

I’m excited that they are taking nominations for stories and poems of the month and even more excited that they are making an effort to share this work.

It’s a win for writers when their work can reach a broader audience. Sure, these stories and poems get more views — which means earnings for the writer — but it’s even more important to be a part of a platform actively seeking to highlight great writing on the platform.

Most of us would just keep journals if we didn’t want our writing to be shared, so it’s nice to see Simily making an effort to identify and highlight some of the good work published there.
