I love cats.

I love U2.

I’ve come to love a life in recovery from alcohol abuse.

While I came to Medium to write about consumer finance and education policy, I now write mostly about my personal experiences.

Turns out, those stories generate some interest. Who knew there wasn’t a large audience for picking apart the details of a shady online loan or exposing the tricks of a used car dealer?

There is, in fact, such an audience — and I write for them at my consumer finance Substack.
