Simily Needs to Get Social

The creative writing site is now over 5000 members

I’ve been chronicling my journey with creative writing over at Simily for about eight months now.

I’ll keep this update short.

Simily needs to use its social media presence to promote the writing and writers on the site.

There are now over 5000 members — and the site continues to slowly grow.

While they continue to explore upgrading the platform, they should be using their apparently dead Twitter and Facebook accounts to promote the writers there.

Yes, they’ve sent out some emails and promoted writers via the website’s front page.

Yes, it’d be great if they spent SOME money on ads to draw people to the site.

They should be regularly engaging with the writers on the site and promoting the content there. Simily needs to do MUCH more to help get eyes on the content that is there.
