Simily Gets Spooky
A new content campaign as the site surges past 10,000 members
I’ve been writing on Simily since the beginning of 2022 and regularly chronicling my experience there with articles here on Medium.
I’ve been writing recently about how Simily has finally surpassed the 10,000 member threshold and how they continue to grow. Plus, it seems they are doing more and more promotion of content — though their social channels are still rather dormant.
To that end, Simily just announced a Spooky Story contest — they’re collecting recommended spooky stories to be released and featured during the week of Halloween.
Here’s the text of the email, plus a link to submit a story for consideration:
With Halloween coming up, we are compiling a list of the best scary stories. Send us a story you’ve written or a story you’ve read and loved in the categories of thriller, horror, scary, spooky, etc. The list of Simily’s Spooky Stories will be released the week of Halloween
I’m hopeful Simily will continue to grow and to promote the great creative writing on the platform.
