Right - that's what I thought in 2016 - and millions more people voted for his opponent then, and he still became President. Yes, I know, that's the system we have - the point - voting against him is not enough. And waiting until it is Trump v. Biden is not helpful, either. It's pretty scary. The challenge is we've never had a former President with this sort of legal trouble - it is uncharted territory. However, if we believe in the "rule of law," we should also believe that someone on the wrong side of it should not be able to become President. Ostensibly, once Trump became President again, he would take steps to reduce or eliminate his legal troubles.
