Right? I mean, why trust the very people who promised that McCarthy would be Speaker to keep their promises. I wonder if 6 Republicans could be persuaded to accept a deal? I mean, equal appointments to committees, chairmanships? Something - of course, IF McCarthy is finally elected Speaker, this does not bode well for the GOP legislative agenda.
