Oh, this! My daughter left for college this year - and it caused me to reflect on life, on our life together - and, well, there are many good memories - and then, there is knowledge I have now that I wish I'd had as a young dad in my 30s. I suppose that's how it goes - we learn the lessons by doing the things. I'm glad, though, I'm aware now - and can be a resource as she navigates her journey into adulthood.
