In what has become a trend, my highest earning piece on Medium in July was a story I wrote about my NewsBreak earnings.
While earnings reports generally attract readers, this one got a boost because it was mentioned in a story Jenn Leach wrote about NewsBreak’s earnings potential.
This, to me, points to the power of sharing.
Jenn has many more followers than I do and those followers are obviously engaged. A fair number of them discovered my writing b/c of her share of my piece.
When we share writing we like, we help writers gain exposure. If we do it well, our piece will attract readers to our words AND we can help promote someone else.
