Love this - I mean, the 50% divorce rate has remained fairly constant. It's basically a coin toss. I have a theory about attachment styles (50% of ppl. are securely attached, the other 50 fall into 3 categories that make long-term attachment difficult) - but, that may not well explain all of the divorce rate. Certainly, issues such as NPD and emotional abuse crop up. Often, on reflection, there were some clear red flags - but, in the fun of doing this thing that LOTS of people do and many profess to enjoy, we move on - we buy without being ware. Ugh!
