Letting go is key! And your math is dead-on. If you have $1.5 million, you can set yourself up to be far more than fine - and create a system where you won't run out of money. If I knew I could have $50,000 a year coming FOREVER while still having $1 million in the bank at all times, I'd be quite calm. Of course, I'm also pretty calm at the moment, too - b/c letting go is freedom.
