I've been to WV and some places are pretty nice - and still very affordable (Charleston comes to mind) - I currently live in Nashville (which I love) - but just up the road in Louisville, housing prices are much cheaper - I could sell here and buy something pretty incredible there (while still being just a few hours away) - Louisville is a great (if quaint) city, too.
