It came again today.

The magazine.

The one that I can’t cancel.

My now-deceased father gifted me a subscription and paid it through 2022 (he died in May of that year).

But it still keeps showing up.

I’m not mad about it.

It’s a pleasant gift.

I don’t know how the world beyond this one works — but I think my dad might be doing something small to make me smile. It definitely makes me think of him.

I’ve certainly written before about subscriptions you want to cancel, but can’t.
