Does that mean anything?

Writing online with the intent of making money from that writing — well, it’s a challenge.

I’ve written here about finding a place where I can earn some extra money pretty reliably.

Not long ago, I discovered ManyStories.

It’s a site started by a Medium writer who wanted to give Medium stories a lift.

Here’s the thing: You can share ANY story. You can share stories you didn’t write, even.

The idea is that each profile — each user — is sharing stories that have meaning for them.

Sure, this could be a way to get some attention on your stories. Every click is a possible read is possible earnings.

But, like Medium, it’s also a bit of a community.

I’ve been a reader/user for just over a month now.

Today’s email — that’d I’d been the number 4 writer — came as a nice surprise.

All this means is that I’m the number 4 person in terms of sharing stories.

Most of those are mine — so, I’m just a top self-promoter.

Still, those badges are nice incentives.

I will also say this: Since staring my ManyStories journey, I’ve definitely seen an uptick in my Medium reads.

Of course, I use ManyStories to share content from NewsBreak and Substack as well.

The point: ManyStories can help you reach new readers.
