I suppose this fear is related to - if I tell her what I really want, she won't want me at all. So, rather than risk losing all sex, you say nothing. Of course, this reflects an element of insecurity - the person has chosen to be with YOU - she may not be "into" everything, but a good partner will want to support you - and your desires. Plus, YOU might be surprised at what SHE wants, too.
