I remember these days, too - Going to recovery meetings and staring at the floor, unable to look at people, not wanting to get out of bed, thinking it'd be better if it were just ... all over.

But I kept going - b/c to drink for me was to die. And kept going. And after 90-ish days, I felt a *little* better - and kept going. Not drinking alone is a win - the rest does happen - miracles in 30 days? Idk - but with time - and with the ability to focus on self-improvement sobriety brings - yes, it does (or can) get better. Thanks for sharing your experience - keep going!
