I feel this - I recall vividly mom making huge pots of spaghetti noodles on Sunday - and that (with butter) was to be our meal for the week - we'd eat spaghetti every night. Sometimes, if she bought beef, she'd make chili on Sundays - and maybe we could mix that with the noodles. I was always glad to eat a meal that wasn't spaghetti - again.
