I don’t think they accept poems. Minimum article must be 250 words and articles must include a photo. They take a range of nonfiction — I know a writer who puts up local history pieces, for example. They have pretty clear content guidelines and they use a strike system to enforce them. You get paid based on reads (not reading time) — so, they put your pieces in front of an audience, and if readers click and view, you get paid. There’s is an ad model, so the final pieces run with advertising — while they articles are on the web, the site is designed for an app.
