I absolutely love Substack. It's a great platform and a newsletter format, makes it easy to reach people if you have a good list. Plus, they've added a "recommendations" function that has really helped spur growth. Not a huge Vocal fan. Definitely like Simily for creative writing, though the member numbers are low. I've had a WordPress blog for years (since 2013) and I like it - even though the revenue there comes mainly from Google ads.
