I’ve written recently about my experience writing at NewsBreak — why I like it overall and the pros and cons of the site.

This week, I thought I’d give an update on the types of stories I write there.

First, a lot of writers are curious about what gets published on NewsBreak. The site has a strike system, and this can seem daunting.

Second, I’ve been on the site for nearly a year now and so have some experience experimenting with content to see what works.

Mind you, not every story I write hits a homerun. Some earn just a few cents (just like here on Medium). But I’ve found NewsBreak to be a much more consistently reliable source of side income.

So, here goes. I’ll break these down into categories.
