COVID Rental Relief Extended

Relief for renters facing financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic was part of a package of measures signed into law on December 27th, notes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

There are two types of relief provided. First, the CDC’s eviction moratorium was extended until January 31st, so renters may not be evicted for non-payment until after that date.

Second, a fund was established to provide rental payment assistance.

More information the relief fund and how to access it may be found here.
