Why I like the content-sharing platform
A key element of being a content creator is finding an audience — getting your words in front of people who want to read them.
Medium is great for that.
There are a lot of writers here — and many of us also enjoy reading across a range of topics.
Plus, there’s a built-in audience of people who come to Medium just for writing on certain topics or to read writers they enjoy.
However, if you’re trying to build an audience, you may be struggling to find new readers.
That’s one reason I keep sharing on ManyStories.
I read a story about the content-sharing platform here on Medium and thought I’d try it out.
It’s basically a place that lets you share content — yours and other content you enjoy.
As a writer, it’s great to have a relatively easy way to get your words in front of potential readers.
Sure, people will find you on Medium (maybe). But it helps to have one more venue and to encounter a new potential set of readers.
