Ah, yes - the stories - I once wanted to be like one of the characters in the stories I sometimes write. The dashing young professor - the bright but misunderstood writer - always, always with some secret source of cash for living fabulously. It took some time to learn to live the life in front of me, to be content here - but, I do understand that compulsion to create a story - and to escape to it in the telling of it to others.
