Agree - time to get going. To talk with voters. There are likely many reasons (some of which you note) that Trump will be President again - but, now is the time for Democrats to start building toward 2026.

One thing I fail to understand: Nothing is ever Trump's fault. His party lost the mid-terms in 2018 and 2020 and Dems did well in the 22 mid-terms and off year Gov. races. Whether it is him talking about David Duke or a comedian at his MSG rally, Trump "doesn't know anything" about these things - he's never responsible.

D or R, I'd like a President who held themselves accountable. Like Barack Obama admitting the crash of the healthcare.gov site was unacceptable.
