Affordability is a huge problem where I am - unless my daughter had some crazy salary in her first job, she'd be hard-pressed to afford rent at even a very modest place in our area. Certainly, of course, she could move somewhere more affordable - and I'd be happy (at this point, anyway) to welcome her home for a bit if that's what helped her get well-established.
