A Season for Spooky Questions

Maybe the answers will scare you

I love Halloween.

Dark.

Lots of cats.

A season designed to examine what scares you — to examine your very soul.

Or, at least to get some good treats and binge-watch horror movies.

Anyway, a post I wrote recently made me think of some spooky (uncomfortable) questions. And the even more alarming or disturbing answers that go along with them.

Let’s start with dating.

Scary enough on its own.

Then, there’s the talking part.

Which, inevitably means questions.

Like this one:

“If you were going to kill yourself, how would you do it?”

Yes, I was asked that question on a first date.

And marriage leads to a need to keep some things to yourself.
