I have written quite a bit about my experience sharing stories over at ManyStories.
It’s an interesting site for writers — a way to get your work in front of a new audience.
So, I was thrilled when I received the note pictured above.
A featured story.
I’m not exactly sure how they select the features, but it is nice to have a story in front of new readers.
I suppose I’ll see if the feature leads to a few new readers on this piece.
Here’s an excerpt from that piece that captures the torment that plagues the mind of one of the story’s characters:
He’d built the magical world — all in his head. And she was there, waiting for him to claim it all. And he burned it all down instead.
